When creating this 30 second music video I combined skills that I had learnt from my previous pieces such as using overlays and blurring the footage in post-production. I think the blurring was effective because I wanted to create the feeling of a false reality or a dream-state.

To prepare for my coursework to create a three minute music video I needed to research the typical features of music videos, so I recreated 30 seconds of an existing music video by Selena Gomez. I chose this music video because I wanted to learn how to blur footage in post-production and how to use effective flash cuts. As well as that I have never done and black and white production piece before.
